The shoe features Altra Running's Slim FootShape fit that has a snug and secure feel while still allowing your toes to spread out naturally. Unlike traditional running shoes that have an aggressive, narrow taper at the toes, the FootShape design gives your feet more space to sit naturally. This broader cut lets your big toe to remain in a straight position while allowing your other toes to spread, reducing the risk for cramped toes, blisters, and other painful conditions that often plague runners. The shoe also utilizes Altra's Balanced Cushioning platform, where the height of the heel and the forefront are the same, to encourages a natural stride rather than elevating the heel or manipulating foot position.
