The combination of water-resistant suede and high-tenacity Cordura fabric enables the boot to "break in" more quickly than traditional full-leather boots. This construction also provides the boots with flexibility and forgiveness that reduces fatigue during long days on the trail. A GORE-TEX Performance Comfort bootie provides reliable waterproof/breathable protection.
The high cut of the boot provides excellent ankle support while the materials are pliable enough to provide a snug fit. A rubber toe rand helps to defend toes against rocks and roots and also extends the life of the boot.
An Asoflex 00 MR lasting board protects the bottom of your foot from the impact of roots and rocks and a molded EVA midsole helps cushion your foot on high mileage days. The moderately aggressive dual-density Vibram Duo Radiant outsole and its MegaGrip compound is highly durable and provides confident traction on varied terrain and on both wet and dry surfaces. Strategic heel cleats and Asolo's Aso-brake design enhance performance on ascents and descents.
