The lightweight, compact Big Agnes Air Core Ultra inflatable sleeping pad is ideal for summer or warm-weather backpacking. Its weight-and-space saving design allows it to pack down small and take up very little space in your backpack.

Description

The lightweight, compact Big Agnes Air Core Ultra inflatable sleeping pad is ideal for summer or warm-weather backpacking. Its weight-and-space saving design allows it to pack down small and take up very little space in your backpack.

Durable I-beam construction provides stability while reducing weight and bulk. When inflated, the pad offers 3.25” of thickness and larger outer baffles serve as rails to help keep you comfortably centered on the pad throughout the night. TPU lamination ensures durability and an anti-microbial treatment protects the interior of the pad.

The pad does need to be blown up, but a high-volume valve makes both inflation and deflation easy and allows for fine-tuning of firmness. An included inflation sack (color will vary) enables you to inflate the pad without having to do so by mouth. This saves you energy but also helps to extend the life of the pad by keeping moisture from reaching the pad’s interior.

The Big Agnes Air Core Ultra sleeping pad is available in a wide array of size options. A stuff sack and a repair kit are included with each pad. NOTE: Always store the pad unrolled with the valve open.

Wide and long is right

Likes

Nice and wide so your arms don't fall off the pad. Plenty thick enough for side sleepers. Inflation bag included really saves your breath, especially when at high elevation.

Time will tell how durable, but so far so good.

I purchased the regular wide- it's perfect for huskier campers like me who are side sleepers. It's nice and thick. The width of the pad accommodates my frame well-can't wait to try it out this summer!

Dislikes

The inflation bag will take some getting used to- I suggest blowing it up with your mouth to get the mattress started, then finish it with the inflation bag. The inflation bag is also kinda heavy, so if you are counting ounces.... consider getting the lighter weight version.
