Big Agnes C Bar 3 3-Season Backpacking Tent

With durable construction and a weight of just 4 pounds, 4 ounces, the Big Agnes C Bar 3 offers versatility for backpacking or camping use. Its pole structure offers an excellent space-to-weight ratio at a budget-friendly price.

Measuring 66" at its widest point at the head and tapering to 60" at the feet, the tent has a 39 square foot interior. The large front door provides convenient access and a corresponding vestibule provides 11 streamlined square feet of external storage space. Interior mesh pockets also help to maximize floor space by getting clothes and gear up off the floor. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Wall or Large Trapezoid Gear Loft (both sold separately).

DAC Pressfit aluminum poles grant sturdy, freestanding structure and maximize interior space. Note that Big Agnes does include lightweight aluminum hook stakes to ensure a taut pitch. The hubbed design of the poles and integrated clips on the tent body make set up easy. Mesh panels in the polyester tent body provide ventilation that cuts down on condensation. Coated with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane, the polyester taffeta floor and rainfly fend off moisture and deliver reliable durability. All of the tent’s seams are tape sealed to further protect the tent from the elements.

If you want to travel lighter, leave the tent body at home and use the poles and rainfly alone with the optional C Bar 3 Footprint (sold separately) for a tarp-style set-up that weighs less than 3 pounds.
