Black Diamond Sprinter 500 Headlamp

Built for runners and adventurers who aren't bound by the rise and fall of the sun, the Black Diamond Sprinter 500 headlamp is equally at home on city streets and backcountry trails. Powered by an included rechargeable battery or standard AAA batteries (sold separately), the light produces a strong oval beam and has its own red "taillight" to make runners visible in urban settings. The taillight like can be turned off when not needed.

A powerful LED bulb delivers 500 lumens on its maximum setting, casting a beam up to 170 feet in length. The LED is regulated to ensure constant illumination. PowerTap technology allows you to instantly maximize the light's brightness with the tap of a finger. Dimming and strobe settings are also available, allowing you to maximize burn time or use the headlamp for emergency signaling. A locking function allows you to prevent the light from accidentally turning on when stowed inside your pack.

The headlamp is powered by the included BD 1800 rechargeable lithium ion battery, but the design is modular to allow for the use of three standard AAA alkaline batteries (sold separately) if needed. Easily track battery life and ensure you won't be left in the dark with the six-setting, 3 LED battery meter. A micro-USB adapter is included to make certain that you can charge the battery wherever you go.

A perforated elastic headband provides breathability and adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the headlamp remains securely in place while in use. An integrated, removable top strap further increases stability.

Available in your choice of color options, the Black Diamond Sprinter 500 headlamp has an IPX4 water-resistant rating and is suitable for all-weather use.
