The jacket's 20D ripstop nylon shell has a water-resistant finish which helps to keep weight to a minimum and offer protection for the insulation tucked beneath. The 800-fill down insulation has been given a water-resistant treatment to keep it lofty and able to insulation even in wet conditions. Cotopaxi utilizes down that meets or exceeds the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to ensure that best practices are followed in animal welfare and the down is sourced responsibly.
Other features include a full-length front zipper, a close-fitting hood, an internally-adjustable hem, elastic bound cuffs, internal stash pockets, and zippered hand pockets.
