The boot was built on a special last which reflects the asymmetrical shape of the human foot resulting in a boot that fits better. Garmont's Anatomically Directed Design uses other ergonomic features to take advantage of your foot's natural ability to stabilize absorb shock and propel you forward.
The ballistic fabric upper gives you excellent abrasion resistance while a waterproof lining keeps your foot dry. This construction also enables the boot to break-in almost immediately unlike an all-leather boot.
An expanded EVA insole extra EVA padding in the heel and an anti-torsional shank combine to provide comfort and stability. Anatomical support reduces foot movement within the boot giving you greater comfort. A shock-absorbing midsole dampens impact enhances cushioning and reduces fatigue.
A rugged Vibram Extended outsole provides excellent grip on dry wet or muddy surfaces and terrain.
