Description

The lightweight, innovative Gregory 3D Hydro Reservoir has a flex-molded design that enables it to function like a hydration system while drying more like a water bottle. It incorporates numerous other features to make it a cut above the average reservoir.

The soft-molded, BPA-free reservoir has a three-dimensional design and full-length baffle that give it a better anatomical fit than unstructured reservoirs. This design also helps in overall weight distribution. It also keeps the top and bottom layers from touching when the reservoir isn't in use and this adds to quick drying times and helps prevent bacteria growth.

A large fill port and built-in handle provide convenience when refilling and pulling the reservoir from your pack or putting it back in. A magnetic bite valve, integrated SpeedClip mounting system, and a built-in QuickDry hanger enhance the reservoir's overall performance and versatility. delivers an excellent flow rate and secures to an included magnet that can be fixed to your backpack's sternum strap to keep the drinking hose at the ready but out of your way when not in use.

The Gregory 3D Hydro Reservoir is available in your choice of 2 liter or 3 liter sizes.

  • Soft-molded 3D QuickDry design prevents contact between top and bottom layers when hanging open
  • QuickDry hanger for storage or hang drying on or off the trail
  • SpeedClip mounting system features a one-handed Lock-and-go linkage between the reservoir and a pack's hydration sleeve
  • Anatomical fit with a full-length baffle properly distributes weight for optimal stability and comfort
  • Spine Co-Molded handle makes filling easy and the baseplate provides full length support for hassle-free insertion and removal from a pack
  • Inline hose quick-disconnect coupling for easy refills without having to un-thread the hose from shoulder harnesses
  • DryLock Magnetic push-button bite valve allows for confident, leak-free storage
  • Rubberized fill port opening with integrated hose locator for inline quick-disconnect and screw cap tether

It is easy to clean and has no inconvenience to wear when mounted in a bag.

I like it.

Having owned several other hydro systems, I decided to try this out for my new Gregory pack. I wasn't sure about the handle, but as I got use to it I realized that it was very useful especially if you used it as a bottle to dip into a water source. It does dry pretty quick without the use of tools to keep reservoir open. That's a big plus.

Dislikes

I had a problem with the tube attachment that clicks the tubes together. I expected it to just click in but it didn't seem to fit correctly. I did figure out to use brute force and twisted it into the system till it was secure. I am keeping it but I do wonder how it will be over time. The other big dislike is the screw top opening. It is too small to be able to clean out the reservoir with your hand, and I have to be careful I have it screwed on right. Too bad, cause this could be a perfect system.
