The pack has a lightweight wishbone frame suspension and a HDPE framesheet that together effectively channel weight away from your shoulders to the integrated hipbelt. An anti-barreling cross-stay keeps the pack from losing its shape even if fully loaded. The torso length is adjustable, allowing the pack to fit a range of women. To really dial in the fit, you can use the pack’s load lifters and sternum strap to make adjustments. That sternum strap also has a nifty built-in safety whistle. A perforated, breathable backpanel and die-cut shoulder harness allow air to circulate, keeping you cooler and dryer. The pack also has padded handles on three sides in case you prefer to carry it without the tuck-away suspension system or for when you're retrieving the pack from overheads or luggage carousels.
The pack has a 2441 cubic inch (40 liter) capacity and its main U-zip opening is lockable, making the easy-to-load pack secure in train stations and airports. Flip guard compression panels protect that main zippered opening and safely secure internal contents. The full-surround gear guard foam padding adds additional protection. An Active Shield compartment adds vapor-, dirt- and odor-resistance. Inside, there is a zippered quick-access security pock and a zippered mesh organization pocket.
An innovative 3-in-1 cover completely protects the pack when you need to check-it at the airport or train station and also serves double duty as a protective rain cover when you're actually carrying the pack. The tear-and-abrasion resistant fabric is also a smart anti-theft measure that protects zippered pockets and wards off unwanted access while you're traveling abroad. The quick-access cover stows inside a zippered pocket on the top of the pack.
