Featuring the same collapsible pole technology found in many backpacking tents, the compact and lightweight Helinox Swivel Chair has a unique rotating seat.

The frame of the chair is lightweight but sturdy DAC aluminum. A shock-corded design creates a hubbed pole design so all sections are connected and there's no fear of misplacing any single section. The seat is made of water-resistant and UV-resistant polyester. Mesh side panels enhance breathability.

The chair weighs just 2 pounds, 13 ounces. It has a width of 20.5" and a depth of 20". The height of the seat is 15" and the back height is 29". The packed size of the chair is 4.5"x 5.5" x 15.5". Despite the lightweight construction, the chair can safely support up to 265 pounds.

The Helinox Swivel Chair is one of my favorites, you never knew how much you actually use the swivel when you are out backpacking until you have it!

One of the best chairs ever

Lightweight, strong, durable, it's high enough where you can work sitting in it. It swivels so you can access different things at your camp.

More color options could be beneficial.

Comfortable but bungee cord disintegratiing

Very comfortable and love that it swivels. Took it on a 5 night backpack trip and loved it.

Dislikes

Just a little too heavy for lightweight backpacking but the comfort was worth it. One of the bungee cords holding the legs has frayed to a single strand after just a couple weeks of use. Still usable but for how expensive the chair is it shouldn't happen. Will be returning it.
