By combining maximal running shoe-style cushioning a high-cut supportive upper and a fully waterproof lining the Hoka One One Women's Kaha GTX is a lightweight boot that is sure to appeal to thru-hikers and ounce-counting backpackers.

The boot's upper is durable full-grain leather. A waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX bootie ensures that your foot stays dry and comfortable.

A high-volume midsole has a plush EVA top layer and a second layer of durable responsive foam. This combination maintains its structure even after day after day of long miles. The design enables your foot to settle into rather than sit on top of that midsole providing support and stability without excessive weight or over-engineered structure.

The boot's durable Vibram MegaGrip outsole employs 5mm multi-directional lugs to promote excellent traction on all types of terrain.

The Hoka One One Women's Kaha GTX hiking boot is available in women's full and half sizes and your choice of color options.

GRIPPY COMFORT

These boots feel like they have suction cups they are so grippy. I have been wearing them for just over 30 miles of backpacking on the Appalachian Trail in the Shenandoah National Forest and appreciate their light weight and comfort. These boots have taken me and my 22 pound pack over everything from muddy creek crossings to loose, rough, rocky and uneven terrain. They are the go anywhere do anything hiking boot of the future!

OK, some break in is required. I did get a blister in one spot from the top edge of the insole.
