A high-performance trail running option, LEKI Micro Flash Carbon trekking poles are lightweight (roughly 13.6 ounces), have innovative fatigue-reducing grips, and pack down small.

Streamlined cork component grips employ LEKI’s Trigger Shark Active straps to deliver a connection point between your hands and the poles. This provides ergonomic performance, enhances agility, and effectively transfers power while in use. A security release system enables you to quickly connect and disconnect from the poles to change your grip position. If you prefer, you can remove the straps entirely and use the poles without them.

The “foldable” design of the poles consists of a concealed inner cord that runs through all three sections of the poles. After each shaft section is aligned, a PLB (Push-button Locking Device) tensions the poles and locks each section securely in place. This innovative design saves weight and increases collapsibility while still delivering surprising strength.

The poles use low-profile carbide trail running tips. The carbide provides strength and grip while minimal baskets reduce the risk of the poles getting caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail.

The poles are treated with a clear coat to protect them from scratches while providing an attractive polished finish.

NOTE: While LEKI Micro Flash Carbon poles are collapsible, they are not height-adjustable. Sold in pairs, the poles are available in a wide array of fixed length options to accommodate trail runners and hikers of varying heights.

Sturdiness. Great customer support when selecting the size for my height and after receiving the product, I got patient and useful pointers re: locking and unlocking.

Requires more force than demonstrated in the otherwise helpful video for the locking and unlocking these collapsible poles. Watch the video. The user manual was not so useful.

Great lightweight poles for ultramarathons

Lightweight, durable, easy to assemble and disassemble on the run, clip-in feature

I've yet to discover a dislike with over 300 miles in them so far. My only concern is the push pin locking and unlocking long as that lasts a long, long time, these poles are perfect.

Hardworking and good looking trail running aid

I have found these poles to be an excellent accompaniment for mountain trail running. In addition to being lightweight yet strong collapsible poles the neat glove system works really well to optimize power transfer. While the glove ejector takes some getting use to it has functioned well for me.

Although I like the glove system overall it can pose a bit of a hazard. If you trip and fall the pole will come with you. On the occasion this happened to me it caused some minor damage to the handle. Although the gloves themselves protected from skin scrapes.
