Mountain Hardwear Nimbus UL 1 3-Season Backpacking Tent

Stay dry and comfortable out on the trail without excess weight with the Mountain Hardwear Nimbus UL 1 backpacking tent. With a trail weight well under 2 pounds, this full-featured solo shelter uses ultralight materials and has a waterproof sil-nylon rainfly that's free of dyes, PU-coatings, and flame-retardant chemicals.

Tapered from the head to the foot of the tent, the interior of the tent measures 38" at its widest point and stretches a full 86" in length. These dimensions provide solo backpackers with just under 20 square feet of interior space. An integrated vestibule offers 3.9 square feet of additional weather-protected external storage space. The pre-bent pole design improves headroom and interior space. The tent canopy uses a unique G-hook attachment system to improve compressibility.

The three-quarter mesh canopy maximizes ventilation while solid material on the lower sides of the tent provides privacy. The waterproof sil/sil nylon ripstop rainfly is lightweight and free of dyes and flame retardant chemicals. The tent's floor offers reinforced protection from a 30D nylon ripstop fabric with a 1500mm waterproof rating.

Lightweight, collapsible DAC Featherlite NFL poles provide the tent with freestanding structure. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated hooks to make freestanding setup fast, easy and intuitive. Included DAC J-stakes allow you to maximize the tautness of your pitch and increase structural stability.

The custom-fit Mountain Hardwear Nimbus UL 1 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to add additional protection beneath the tent from mud, ground water, or sharp objects.
