Made of lightweight 7075 aluminum, the Mountainsmith Dolomite 7075 OLS hiking staff features an extended length cork grip, a broad-range of adjustability, and the ease of use provided by external locking mechanisms.
Three collapsible pole sections deliver a usable range of 25” to 54”. A molded cork and EVA foam grip serves as a comfortable handhold and an extended length of texture beneath the standard grip enhances usability. An adjustable webbing/neoprene strap helps to minimize stress on your wrist.
An integrated carbide tip provides traction on dirt, ice, and unimproved surfaces and a removable rubber boot tip is better suited for rock or improved surfaces. A narrow profile hiking baskets can be removed quickly without tools and left at home or replaced with a snow basket (sold separately) for winter use.
