The MSR Freelite 1 tent uses lightweight technology to balance living space and weight in this semi-freestanding solo backpacking shelter.
This tent measures 86” x 30” and has 18 square feet of interior living space. The single vestibule covers 9 square feet of gear.
The walls of the tent have 10 denier polyester micromesh to provide ventilation while keeping out the bugs. The floor is a tougher 15 denier ripstop nylon with a very durable DWR coating to keep you dry.
This tent includes only a single hubbed tent pole, making setup fast and simple. Easton’s virtually indestructible Syclone poles mean that your tent will hold up to the elements.
The tent body is protected by a 15 denier ripstop nylon rainfly coated with a long-wearing DWR treatment. The MSR Universal 1 Person Footprint-Regular (sold separately) fits the FreeLite 1 and can further protect the tent from wet ground, roots and rocks.
