Durable and lightweight.

Windscreen. Cheap plastic gas canister holder that is easy to lose. The gas canister holder could be made of folding metal brackets that are attached at the end of the hose.

Great for Kayak Camping

I bought this to supplement a canister type stove since they are not very good at anything except boiling water. I was pleasantly surprised with the ability of this stove to hold a heavy cast iron pan. It is definitely a quality piece. I really like how you can invert the canisters, no more wasted fuel.
Dislikes
I wish MSR would use a similar design to the Optimus Vega that has attached legs on the fuel line. I can easily see the plastic one with this stove getting lost.

Awesome Stove

This stove is so simple, clean and efficient it's unbelievable. I replaced an MSR Whisperlite with this stove and it was a great move. This stove is clean, super easy to light and boils water about 50% faster than my Whisperlite (using cheap Coleman fuel from Wally's). I haven't used it in cold weather yet, but I believe with the stand for inverted fuel canister use, it will work just fine. Comes with a $15 windscreen that also makes a big difference in efficiency.

If it had a piezo starter it would be perfect.

Lightweight, easy to use. Comes with a wind protector but only use on occasion. Solid base for small or large pots and seems very sturdy. Seems efficient on gas but not as great as a jetboil. Boils quickly. Turning canister over really pumps up the output, have not tried in really cold weather yet.
Dislikes
Worried about how to clean the hose for oversea/plane travel.

Bomb proof MSR quality, uses every bit of gas
Likes
Well built reliable stove. The ability to invert and direct feed the canister allows every last bit of gas to be used without sacrificing burn times. Some have noted that this is heavier and bulkier than other options, the difference is minimal and does not trouble me. It fits in my MSR pot along with lighter, tea's, soup etc and I would take stability over footprint any day. Plus the windshield and inverter can be left at home if minimal bulk and weight is needed and conditions allow.
Dislikes
None. Worst part is retiring my MSR Wisperlite International after 25 years of faithful service, I think I will have to fire it up from time to time just to remind the Wisperlite that I still love it.

The only stove to have for outback oven or just gourmet cooking from simmer to high heat. Simple to use. I've tried a lot of stoves over the years but this is the only one.

Ease of use, ease of set up and stability. I've used the stove on two multiday backpacking trips, and have had no problems with it.
