Combining Mystery Ranch's commitment to durable construction with travel-oriented organizational features, the Mission Rover is a backpack/suitcase hybrid that is ready-made for carry-on use.

The pack can be carried in a variety of ways. It has stowable shoulder straps that enable it to function more like a traditional backpack, but it also has suitcase-style grab handles and an included strap lets you carry it over your shoulder. The pack body's 500D courdura fabrication is incredibly durable and the 200D nylon interior liner also stands up to wear and tear.

The 43 liter (2624 cubic inch) interior is accessed through a clam-shell zippered opening that makes it easy to pack and unpack. Dividers separate the interior into two compartments and zippered pockets aid in organization. There are dedicated pockets for dirty laundry and shoes. Catering to the modern traveler, the pack even has a padded sleeve that fits up to 15" laptops, a tablet pocket, and a small front pocket that's perfect for your passport, tickets, or other essentials.

Sized appropriately for domestic carry-on use, the Mystery Ranch Mission Rover travel pack is available in your choice of color options.

Tough, versatile carry-on sized travel bag. Comfortable as a backpack, but definitely a suitcase first.

The stash-able backpack straps are very comfortable and well balanced. It was no trouble maneuvering a fully-loaded pack through a busy urban train station and my shoulders felt fine after a couple miles of walking around. the back panel is rigid enough for support, but doesn't feel stiff or awkward. Storage-wise, the main compartment is equivalent to a carry-on suitcase, fitting 3+ days of clothing easily. The shoe compartment intrudes a bit on the interior if you have boots in there, but sneakers still leave you with a ton of space. The larger front pocket has a well-protected laptop pocket, and there's plenty of room to stash a book and toiletry bag in there as well. Overall, this is a great bag for one-bag travel and I'm pleased with how comfortable it is to wear. Have only taken it on two trips so far, but it seems plenty tough and reasonably water-resistant.

The smallest front pocket can really only fit some pens/cables and is a bit hard to use for quick access. It'd be nice to have a pocket at the top of the bag for keys/wallet/etc... Having the laptop on the front/top of the bag makes it a bit awkward to open suitcase-style if you have all the rest of your electronics in there as well. The included shoulder strap doesn't have any padding, which is not a big deal but just something to be aware of.
