Description

A fun and functional outdoor home away from home, the two-person NEMO Aurora 2P tent offers excellent interior space, durable construction, and 3-season performance, all at a budget-friendly price. It even includes a protective custom-fit footprint!

Measuring 88" x 52", the tent offers 31.8 square feet of interior space. This volume, combined with a 44" peak height and vertical walls that maximize elbow room, makes the tent a super roomy shelter for up to two backpackers or campers. The tent has two doors for easy entry and vestibules in front of each door provide a total of 18.4 square feet of external storage space. Integrated pockets further maximize interior space by allowing you to store clothes and gear off of the floor.

A hubbed aluminum pole system makes set-up easy. A second aluminum pole crosses the top of the tent to help pull the sidewalls vertical to increase overall livability. No-see-um mesh sidewalls ward off insects and maximize airflow to cut down on condensation. The 68D polyester rainfly and floor have a weatherproof coating to help keep the interior of the tent dry. Integrated vents in the rainfly help with airflow. A custom-fit footprint is included to further protect the floor of the tent from sharp objects, mud and ground water.

The NEMO Aurora 2P tent is available in your choice of colors. A drawstring stuff sack is included.

  • Hubbed aluminum pole system
  • Vertical side walls for massive interior volume
  • Two doors and vestibules for ample gear storage and access
  • Included footprint extends the life of the tent floor
  • Strutted rainfly vents for excellent air circulation
  • Stuff sack included

If It Had Been My First, It Would Have Been My Last

Likes

Unfortunately, I kissed a lot of frogs before finding this prince of a tent. I have not yet tested it in wind and rain, so I don't know if it will prove kingly, but here's what I like about it so far. (1) I can set up the main tent part, by myself, in under 5 minutes. I've only set it up inside, but the rain-fly took only a couple more minutes, so I'm guessing I'll be able to stake it and run guy-lines in about 10 minutes, total, (2) The near-vertical walls make the tent feel unbelievably roomy inside, and I can kneel completely upright in it (I'm 5'6") at the center, (3) I'll be using it for motorcycle camping and I love that there's plenty of room inside the tent for my riding clothes, and the vestibules will readily hold what I carry in waterproof duffels. (4) It folds up tidily, rolls up easily, and is the first tent I've owned that hasn't set me to cussing while trying to wrestle it back into its original bag.

Dislikes

If it leaks in the rain I'll be very disappointed because, right now, it's perfect.
