NEMO Hornet Elite 1P 3-Season Backpacking Tent

Designed to appeal to true ounce-counters, the streamlined NEMO Hornet Elite 1P tent utilizes ultra-lightweight fabrication and a unique pole geometry to provide 3-season performance at a minimum weight of just 1 pound, 7 ounces!

A large side-entry door makes entering and exiting the 87.1" x 40.2" (at its widest point) tent easier on the body. No-see-um mesh keeps the bugs at bay while providing ventilation and the floor is 10D polyurethane-coated Sil ripstop nylon. The tent has almost 22 square feet of internal space. A single vestibule offers about 7 feet of space to stow gear.

A single hubbed-pole design creates free-standing support without adding bulk or undue weight. NEMO has positioned the front pole hub overhead which creates more interior volume without the need for an additional ridge pole. Color-coded guylines and poles make for easy setup.

Corner guyout points with a unique triangular design at the “foot” of the tent can be staked-out to maximize internal space or left un-staked for weight savings.

A raised waterproof bathtub-style floor enhances performance in poor weather and also cuts down on wear-and-tear. Fully seam taped construction and the ultra-lightweight 7D polyurethane-coated Sil ripstop nylon rainfly further bolster weather protection. Guyout cord, stakes, and a repair kit are included. A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to offer additional protection against standing water rocks and roots.
