A high-performance low-cut trail shoe that strikes an excellent balance between weight and durability the Oboz Men's Arete Low combines the comfortable fit for which Oboz is renowned with a sleek profile and breathable construction that is sure to appear to thru-hikers.

The upper is a weather-resistant mesh with durability-enhancing TPU overlays. No-sew construction cuts down on potential hot spots and a welded TPU toe cap protects your digits from rocks and roots.

An EVA midsole and premium O Fit insole provide underfoot cushioning and comfort with minimal weight and bulk. Forefoot armoring and a lightweight chassis increase overall protection and support.

Under foot there is diversity of technology to keep you moving forward. The shoe has a beveled toe-protecting tread wrap multi-directional lugs for confident braking and traction perimeter lugs to adapt to uneven terrain and active flex grooves to grab the trail.

Sold in pairs the Oboz Men's Arete Low trail shoe is available in men's full and half sizes.

Strange Fit for Oboz

Likes

They fit very true to size if not a smidge on the long side. The toebox felt plenty wide for my slightly wider toes

Dislikes

There is some sort of cloth/flap at the bottom of the tongue that digs into the top of my foot. It feels super uncomfortable and there are lots of reviews out there saying the same thing. Hopefully just a manufacturing fluke?
