Built for extended travel that includes significant time on the trail, the Osprey Farpoint Trek Pack 75 has a load-carrying frame that adapts to different torso lengths, more than 4500 cubic inches of capacity, tons of organizational options, and a stowable cover that protects your pack from getting wet in the rain or getting damaged at the airport.
The pack’s 3.5 mm LightWire peripheral frame effectively transfers the load to your hips and the pack’s supportive waistbelt. An HDPE framesheet helps to effectively distribute the load across a tensioned backpanel. The padded mesh suspension has an adjustability range of 4 inches to ensure an optimal fit. Load lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap help to fully dial in fit and the buckle of the sternum strap even doubles as a handy rescue whistle.
The pack’s internal storage space is accessed through a large front opening to make packing and unpacking easy. There’s a separate lower compartment that is perfect for a sleeping bag or for simply separating clothes and gear. A divider between the two compartments can be removed if you prefer to convert the pack to a single large compartment. There is a removable divider between the main area and the lower compartment. Internal and external compression straps with fabric wings help to keep clothes and contents safely secured and the pack properly compressed.
Other pockets include a vertical front panel quick zip pocket and two durable stretch-woven side pockets. A small zippered top pocket and zippered hip belt pockets keep small items secure and close at hand.
Specially-designed loops make this pack compatible with Osprey’s Daylite accessories (sold separately), allowing you to equip the pack with additional storage and increased versatility. Other features include dedicated external sleeping pad straps, a padded grab handle of the side of the pack, and a multi-functional internal sleeve that can hold a hydration reservoir or tablet/laptop in a padded case. Osprey even includes a durable travel cover to protect your pack on planes, trains, or buses and it also doubles as a rain cover while you have the pack on your back.
