Lots of pockets which makes organizing easy! Side pockets fit my 32oz Nalgenes well & hip pockets are convenient. Perfect for summer day hikes but I might need something larger for day hikes any other time of the year.
Heavier than other packs of this size I've tried
I take this backpack kayaking and hiking with me. It’s gotten wet and very dirty. Still looks brand new though. It’s so comfortable. I love that it’s made to fit a women! It feels so light and it hugs you in all the right places. I haven’t had any issues with the zippers. My favorite pockets are the side ones that are at your hip. I snack a lot and they are very convenient. I also love putting my phone in those pockets for when you come across something super cool and you want to take a quick picture when you’re hiking. When I take it kayaking with me it gets muddy because I get out and hike around and my Boots get muddy and so does this pack. I just wipe it off and nothing has stained it or made it look worn. This pack is durable and really holds up to all the abuse I’ve put it through. My Fiancé jokes with me and calls me Dora the Explorer because I got the purple one and this summer- I took it everywhere with me.
I really can’t think of anything that I don’t like about the Osprey Sirrus 24 Women’s Day Pack.
Well made women's day hiking backpack
Good supportive and comfortable pack. Not very lightweight but it fits well if your waist size is within the range of the hipbelt.
Hipbelt size is fixed which might not fit well for those a larger frame.
Great day hiking backpack!
- Great size for a day hike - Nice back support - Hip belt pockets perfect size for phone/snacks - The shade of blue is awesome :P
- The front pocket is a little awkward to access, the zipper gets covered under the velcro - The top pocket hangs in front of the water bladder pocket, making it hard to put in and take out, but not really a bother, since you only need to access that at the beginning/end of the trip
Great Backpack for Day Hikes
Lots of room and pockets. Easy access. Great ventilation. Very comfortable.
Straps loosen on occasion.
Great daypack for hiking
I love the feature on this pack that allows you to adjust the torso length. It was the seller for me. The hip pockets are great to store maps, snacks, and tissues, although a bit small for phones. I got the purple color, and I love it. The pack is well-ventilated and I've already had to use the rain cover. It was super easy to put on, and my stuff stayed totally dry. It's also really easy to attach your hiking poles, if you use them. Overall I love this pack and would recommend!
I don't think the placement of the mesh pocket is very convenient; it has to be lifted out of the way in order to load the water reservoir, so I keep it intentionally near-empty. I wish the hip pockets were adjustable so that I could bring them closer to the buckle and further from the pack, if that makes sense.
Perfect for day hikes and traveling. Lots of pockets and I love the rain cover (which is inlcuded).
love it, most comfortable back pack didn't think the women's pack would be so different but so glad I was wrong.
wish i could fit a little more but the support which is necessary takes up some room. have to trade off something i suppose
