Description

With its lightweight but supportive suspension system, bluesign-approved recycled fabrics, and a multitude of technical features, the iconic Osprey Talon 44 pack offers high performance and reliability for day hiking or fast-and-light overnight backcountry adventures.

A LightWire peripheral frame and an injection-molded and die-cut Airscape backpanel lend the pack flexible support and maximize breathability for combatting heat build-up between your back and the pack body. An adjustable Biostretch hipbelt and harness are also padded with die-cut foam and covered in spacer mesh to keep weight to a minimum. Together they enhance comfort and optimize fit. The hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt to draw the pack close into your lumbar to enhance maneuverability. Accommodating hikers of varying sizes, the pack is available in Small/Medium (best fits torso lengths ranging from 17"-20") and Large/Xlarge (19"-22") size options.

The storage capacity of the Small/Medium pack is 2563 cubic inches and the Large/Xlarge has a 2685 cubic inch capacity. The top-loading main compartment is accessed beneath a height-adjustable floating lid or through a zippered entry that runs the full-length of the side of the pack. Additionally, a lower compartment serves as a dedicated spot for stowing your sleeping bag or other clothes and gear. A removable divider enables you to open up the interior to create a single spacious compartment. A large stretch mesh front shove-it pocket, side stretch woven pockets, and dual zippered lid pockets offer additional organizational options. Large, zippered hipbelt pockets offer quick and easy access to other gear and trail essentials. Compression straps enable you to cinch down the packbag to keep contents safely in place.

Other features include a Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment, ice axe attachments with bungee tie-offs, and a stretch mesh front harness pocket. A lined exterior compartment makes the pack hydration compatible (hydration system sold separately) and allows you to remove or refill your reservoir without having to access the interior of the pack.

The Osprey Talon 44 backpack is available in your choice of size and color options.
