Wearable as a beanie balaclava neck gaiter scarf face covering and more the Outdoor Research Echo Ubertube offers extremely versatile protection for your head and neck.

This delightfully simple but infinitely useful piece of apparel takes up little space in your pack and adds almost no weight (0.7 oz). A seamless tube of fabric it is constructed of Airvent polyester. The fabric is highly breathable effectively wicks away sweat and dries quickly if it does become wet. It offers UPF 15 sun protection and has a Polygiene treatment that provides active odor control.

I’ve used one of these in a different color for cycling. Adds a little bit of warmth for cooler temperatures. Wicks away moisture very fast when temperatures are higher. I use it mostly for sun protection so I don’t have to slather on the lotion.

The Ubertube is everything I hoped it would be... comfortable, lightweight, and highly breathable. A great option as a face covering as well when not in community-spread type environments.

Could be slightly smaller/tighter fit, but my noggin is pretty small

Super lightweight and breathable. Comfortable material. Can be used as a face mask/headband/neck gaiter.

Dislikes

Not as stretchy as a Buff if that's what you're looking for.
