Despite the casual look, Outdoor Research Men's Astro Shorts have a hybrid mapped design that provides abrasion resistance, sun protection, and a comfortable stretch fit. With lightweight breathability and plenty of pockets for storing valuables on the go, these shorts have everything you need for hiking and everyday adventures.
The shorts have a hybrid construction utilizing bluesign-approved nylon and spandex fabric blends. The back offers more abrasion resistance for sliding down rocky trails and the front has airy stretch for next-to-skin comfort. Together, these lightweight fabrics move moisture, promote breathability, dry quickly, and have a UPF 50+ sun protection rating. The stretch fit and gusseted crotch provide complete freedom of movement and enhance comfort.
The shorts are a pull-on style with soft elastic at the waist and have an internal drawcord for adjustment. There are plenty of pockets with two hand pockets (one of which has an interior mesh phone pocket) and a zippered pocket on the right leg.
