Lightweight quick-drying and protective against UV Outdoor Research Men's Equinox Convertible Pants are perfect for hiking backpacking or traveling in hot and humid climates. They can also be converted to shorts.
The pants are constructed primarily of nylon but a touch of spandex grants them movement-mirroring stretch. The fabrication also delivers UPF 50+ sun protection. A gusseted crotch and an internal drawcord on the snap front closure waistband enhance fit and comfort. Zippers at the ankles make the pants easier to pull on and take off.
The pants offer versatility by allowing you to zip off the bottom half of the legs to turn the pants into 10” inseam shorts when temperatures rise. Color-coded zippers on each leg make it easy to convert the shorts back into pants.
Other features include rear pockets front drop-in hand pockets and a zippered security pocket inside the right hand pocket.
