A collaboration with the workwear experts at Dovetail, Outdoor Research OR x Dovetail Women's Field Hat is made with a durable blend of cotton and Cordura nylon that can stand up to demanding field work and backcountry expeditions. The hat offers UPF 50+ sun protection with a 360-degree brim and stowable neck cape.
The main body is made of a cotton and Cordura nylon blend with a touch of spandex for stretch. The neck cape is a soft blend of nylon and elastane. Both fabrications have the same UPF 50+ rating, and there is a DWR treatment applied for extra weather resistance. A wicking headband keeps sweat from dripping down your face. The brim is 3 inches wide to provide adequate shade and the neck cape can be stowed. There's also an adjustable chin strap to keep the hat secure.
