Description

Offering fully-featured weather protection the durable best-selling Outdoor Research Women's Aspire Jacket effectively keeps out precipitation while maximizing breathability. Fully-taped GORE-TEX Paclite fabric holds up to the wear-and-tear of the trail while lightweight yet durable construction make this jacket a good option for year round foul weather protection.

The jacket's 2L construction and 50D polyester plain weave fabric nicely balance weight and durability. The fabric is highly breathable but Outdoor Research's innovative TorsoFlo side zips provide superior ventilation. Two-way zippers run from the bicep to the hem of the jacket and allow built-up heat to escape. This feature allows for poncho-style ventilation when your backpack's waistbelt passes underneath the jacket so that you maintain maneuverability without jeopardizing the jacket's waterproof protection or your own comfort. A fully-adjustable hood extends weather protection.

Other features include a protective storm flap over the full-length two-way front zipper water-resistant zippers adjustable cuffs a drawcord-adjustable hem a zippered external chest pocket and two zippered hand pockets. The left hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack when the jacket isn't being worn.

Great fit

The color is good, not as orange as I had hoped. I like the material, it's soft and not so Rain-coaty. Also, like the zip pits. Haven't worn it yet, so can't say anything about warmth or water proof.

Dislikes

The zipper for the jacket is really hard to work. It seems to stick. I've been told this is because it's dual-zip and needs to be all the way into the zipper to work. But not my fav. we'll see.
