A performance-oriented hiking short, the Outdoor Research Women's Astro Short delivers breathability, wicks moisture, and has stretch fabrication to ensure unhindered movement.
The short utilizes blue-sign approved hybrid construction. The front of the short is a blend of nylon and spandex while the back of the short and the waistband are 86% polyester and 14% spandex. In addition to be being breathable and quick-drying, the fabric provides UPF 50+ sun protection.
Other features include a wide mesh-lined waistband, a gusseted crotch, two drop-in hand pockets, and a small front waistband pocket.
