The Outdoor Research Women's Melody Hybrid Jacket combines super comfortable melody fleece with innovative synthetic insulation to offer an optimal balance of fit warmth weight and movement-mirroring stretch.
The main body's exterior shell is constructed of wind- and water-resistant polyester with the integrated stretch of spandex that allows freedom of movement. The fabric also provides UPF 30 sun protection. Strategically placed low-profile VerticalX polyester insulation ensures core warmth while also effectively managing moisture so that you remain dry even during high-intensity activities. Unlike down the insulation continues to keep you warm even if it should become wet. An ActiveTemp treatment means that the insulation is more breathable when you're warm and changes to conserve heat when you're not. An elastic hem and elastic cuffs help to seal out drafts.
Other features include a full-length front zipper set-in sleeves with thumbholes and zippered hand pockets.
Available in your choice of sizes and colors the Women's Melody Hybrid Jacket has a trim fit that is best worn only over baselayers or low-profile midlayers.
