The Outdoor Research Women's Sureshot Heated Softshell Gloves give you all the warmth of ALTIHeat battery-powered heat technology in a comfortable, close fit for natural grip, touch, and detail-oriented handiwork.
Offering wind and water resistance together with push-button heat activation, the gloves use a 3-stage battery-powered system and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries to provide up to 8 hours of added warmth for bitter cold weather when used at the lowest setting. A button on the back of the gauntlet powers on the gloves, adjusts the temperature settings, and turns them off for easy use. The lightweight batteries easily stow inside a zippered pocket at the palm side of the gauntlet and plug into the gloves. Once zipped up the batteries are out of the way and do not require any loose cords or components allowing for freedom of movement through the wrist and hand.
The gloves are lightly insulated with EnduraLoft synthetic insulation and have an outer shell made of a two-layer two-way stretch woven nylon and spandex blend. Touchscreen compatible fingertips allow you to use electronic devices without taking the gloves off. The palms are reinforced with synthetic leather for grip and durability and they're lined with soft fleece and tricot fabric for next-to-skin comfort.
The gloves have an under-cuff construction with a zipper on the gauntlet and gusseted wrist entry to make them easier to put on and take off. The wrists are also elasticized, and there's a glove clip to keep the pair together when you're not wearing them.
WARNING: Do not use this heated glove in conjunction with avalanche beacons. Electrically heated gloves interfere with the performance of avalanche beacons, impairing your ability to conduct a search or be located. Additionally, prolonged periods of exposure to excess heat can lead to burns, so check your hands regularly for reddening of the skin. For this reason, the gloves are not for use by children and anyone with problems sensing heat or cold (due to diabetes, Raynaud's disease or similar) should consult a doctor before using the gloves.
Sold in pairs, the Outdoor Research Women's Sureshot Heated Softshell Gloves are available in your choice of sizes and include a universal adapter for charging the batteries.
