Description

Serving as a protective sleeping base for your favorite 4-legged companion, the Ruff Wear Highlands Pad is an accordion-style sleeping pad built especially for dogs. The soft micro suede shell fabric is durable and easy to clean. It has a non-slop waterproof base that increases durability and serves as an insulating barrier against moisture. Closed-cell foam provides cushioning and insulation.

The pad is available in two sizes. Laid flat, the Medium size measures 23.6" x 33.25" and the Large measures 26.8" x 42.75". Both sizes fold up compactly. The pad can be used on its own or paired with the Ruff Wear Highlands Sleeping Bag (sold separately) for the ultimate sleep experience.

Yes, this is a sleeping pad for dogs, and let me tell you- it's the cutest. I used to share my closed cell foam pad with our lab, but it would get so dirty from muddy paws that I didn’t want to use it with my sleeping bag. Now, Penny has her own camp bed that can get as dirty as she pleases, and it’s so easy to clean. It doesn’t fold up super small, but is easy enough to attach to a pack with the integrated strap. I had initially wondered how I would train her to lie on it, but the second I unfold it, she curls right up on top and won’t budge!

Works well with Ruffwear sleeping bag

Likes

Great water resistance and appears highly durable. Easy to wash on gentle in the washing machine. Great to tuck in the slot located underneath the Ruffwear sleeping bag to hold the shape of the bag.

Dislikes

Seems overpriced but it is a quality product
