The midsole utilizes Salomon's lightweight, dual density Energy Surge foam for cushioning and energy return. An imbedded TPU Energy Blade adds underfoot stability while also helping to return energy to both promote forward motion and diminish fatigue.
A versatile All Terrain Contagrip rubber outsole balances durability and responsiveness so you enjoy confident traction on wet or dry surfaces and hard-packed or loose terrain.
With a 32.6mm heel and a 26.6mm forefoot, the shoe has a 6mm drop. It weighs in at roughly 18.8 ounces per pair (varies by size).
