Description

A high-performance racing shoe that is built especially for "soft ground" the lightweight Salomon S/Lab Sense 8 SG has a minimal drop that promotes a natural stride anti-debris construction and deep lugs for maximum traction in mud and sloppy conditions.

The welded water-repellent synthetic upper provides a close-hugging fit and an integrated anti-debris mesh gaiter adds extended protection. Fit is assured with the lightweight QuickLace system and a streamlined pocket in the tongue allows you to tuck away any excess lacing.

Under foot Salomon employs a dual-density midsole and lightweight flexible Profeel film in the forefoot to maximize efficiency. A thin low-profile insole provides additional cushioning. The shoe's 4mm drop provides excellent trail "feel" and agility. The Contagrip TA rubber outsole uses aggressive lugs to deliver dynamic traction even in challenging conditions.

Sold in pairs the Salomon S/Lab Sense 8 SG trail running shoe is a unisex option available in full and half sizes.

I already have this shoes, I’m from Argentina and a friend sent it to me. I have the previous version of this shoe and are great. I already know that the durability is a little poor. Anyway I will compare this shoes with the previous version. In the ankle are very comfortable adding stability.

Durability is very poor, but this is correct because is a competition shoe

BLISTERS!!!

Built in gaiter - great concept. Lightweight.

Built in gaiter - extremely poor lace holster execution. I ran a quick 10 miles in them the day they arrived and got a pretty bad blister on my left foot where my leg meets the foot. I was wearing 'no show' socks, so I chalked it up to that and figured it would be fine in the future with longer socks. Well, I tried another 10 miles a week later wearing somewhat thick, wool calf length socks. The original blister on my left foot (that had since scabbed over) reopened, and I got another even larger blister on my right foot this time. So I basically have zero use for these shoes now since I cannot run in them even with thick socks. Good concept w/ the built in gaiter, but terrible execution.
