Designed specifically for ultra racing and extended adventures, the ultra-lightweight Salomon S-Lab Sense Ultra 8 Set vest pack has a torso-hugging, comfortable fit, at-the-ready 500 ml soft hydration flasks, and an 8 liter storage capacity.

Salomon's motion-mirroring design is the key to the pack's excellent fit and "race" performance. Completely supported by your upper body, the pack has a flexible and adjustable "twin link" connection point across the sternum but otherwise leaves your ribcage free to expand so that breathing remains uninhibited and the "softer" portion of your lower body isn't restrained in any manner that can affect digestion. The shape and placement of the pack body ensures that weight remains consistent with your center of gravity rather than sagging low on your back and causing undue strain and fatigue. Extensive, wide-open mesh on the backpanel and broad harness straps helps to cushion the pack against your body while maximizing airflow to keep you cool. The fit and feel is so comfortable that you can wear the pack directly against your skin.

To ensure that you stay properly hydrated, two included 500 ml (16 oz) soft flasks nestle conveniently in harness pockets for quick access and easy drinking. There are numerous pockets to help in organizing gear and keeping it close at hand. In addition to the two front flask pockets, there are two other stretch pockets, and a zippered security pocket. There is a large rear compartment, a rear stretch pocket, two zippered side pockets, and stretchy lateral pockets for keeping items in easy reach. To comply with many long-distance race regulations, there is also an integrated safety whistle. The pack can also be outfitted with the Salomon Custom Quiver (sold separately) to effectively and conveniently carry collapsible trekking poles.
