Use the 32 oz. pouches
Likes
Bigger than the 16 oz. pouches that come with the Sawyer mini. I consumed 3.5 liters to hike 3 mountains in one hot day, so two of the 32 oz. pouches are a good thing to have. You can fill one up and easily dump the water if it's too heavy. If you have your hydration pack filled, the two 32 oz. pouches will be plenty for refills if needed.

Mark one of the bottles by keeping it hooked to your sawyer mini if you want to drink directly from the mini and use the spare for sharing water for a friend.

Works great

These are useful for holding dirty water when filtering with a Sawyer Mini or Sawyer Squeeze filter. They are also useful for holding clean water if you've not stored dirty water in them yet. Rolling the bag has worked well when filtering. I have not encountered any bag leakage issues. These are very lightweight (~1 oz per bag) and pack down to nothing. When backpacking I stow these rolled up with a thick rubber band, and they take up very little room that way.

Gotta' get this larger bag

I own the Sawyer mini filter. I quickly became frustrated with trying to get enough water in the 16 oz. bag that I bought the 32 oz. ones. These work great, and allow the user to spend less time filling the bag. In fact, if you can find a little waterfall to act as a faucet, it only takes two fillings of this bag to fill a 2L bladder.
