Versatile and lightweight, the Sea to Summit Tanami Down Camping Comforter 50 Degree offers down-filled warmth and queen-sized comfort for warm weather camping and other overland adventures. The 750-fill down quilt has a lower cinch to secure it to a sleeping pad or mattress (sold separately).
Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties, the feathers and fibers of down have an incredibly soft, comfortable feel and, despite advances in synthetic materials, continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one inherent weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet, but the quilt's 750+ fill RDS-certified Ultra-Dry Down performs differently. Ensuring consistent thermal performance, a hydrophobic treatment enables the insulation to stay dry longer and dry faster if it should become wet than traditional down insulation.
The rectangular quilt provides ample coverage for up to a queen-size camp mattress (sold separately). Soft-touch 20D nylon fabric combines with sewn-through quilted construction to protect the insulation while reducing weight and bulk. There's a drawcord at the footbox to snug the ends of the quilt over your sleeping surface and keep out drafts. The quilt can also easily pair with other sleeping bags or liners if you need extra insulation on chilly nights. A storage sack is included.
The Sea to Summit Tanami Down Camping Comforter 50 Degree quilt fits campers up to 6' 0".
