An affordable option for 3-season backpacking the Sierra Designs Men's Hurricane Pant provides lightweight waterproof protection. Breathable and durable the pants have 3/4 length side zippers to fit over boots easily and they self-stow in the rear pocket for storage.
Constructed of a 2.5-layer 100% polyester fabric with a PFC-free DWR the pants are fully waterproof and breathable. The 3/4 length side zippers are water-resistant and make it easy to slide the pants on over hiking boots or shoes. A snap closure at the cuff helps provide a secure fit. Articulated knees and a gusted crotch let you move freely down the trail.
The fully elasticized waist has a drawcord cinch for additional adjustment. The pants have one rear pocket that doubles as a stuff sack.
