A truly multi-purpose mattress, the Therm-a-Rest Women’s Trail Lite self-inflating sleeping pad is ideal for campers as well as budget-minded backpackers who want one pad that can do it all. Its R-value of 4.5 makes it suitable for 3+ season use.

Lightweight and durable fabrics and a streamlined shaped keep weight and size to a minimum while maintaining comfort and durability. Interior die-cut foam provides the pad with a 1.5” thick base of cushioned support.

The self-inflating design allows you to simply unroll the pad and open the integrated one-way WingLock valve. The pad's open-cell foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the pad has had time to inflate, you can adjust the firmness by adding a few puffs of air or pressing down lightly on the pad to release air.

The Therm-a-Rest Women’s Trail Lite sleeping measures 20” x 66”. A stuff sack is included.

Likes

Product is fairly light, and packs down compact. Inflates quickly with a little breath help.

Dislikes

Not that comfy for a side sleeper. If I am car camping I could see taking something a little bulkier for extra hip cushion.

- High r-value and lighter weight for the price - Comfy and you can easily self-adjust to release air

- No repair patches included - It's "self-inflating" however to actually inflate you need to blow air into the valve - Packed size approximately 6in x 10.5in

The good and the not so good...

Likes

...but no surprises! This is a good value pad; it is comfortable and sturdy. Downside is it’s heavy and doesn’t pack small. All of these are to be expected with this type of pad, so no surprises.

See previous. This would be great for car camping and not great for ultralight backpacking, but you knew that already!
