A moderately-cushioned low drop trail running shoe with a nimble undercarriage that allows it to also log road miles the Topo Athletic Men's MT-3 is a great do-it-all every-day running shoe that features Topo's signature wide toe box and secure midfoot and heel.

The upper is constructed of lightweight breathable ripstop mesh with durability-bolstering overlays. Built in drains allow moisture to escape and help the shoe dry quickly if it does become wet.

Under foot a dual-density EVA midsole provides low-profile cushioning. An anti-compression Ortholite footbed enhances both fit and comfort. The footbed also has anti-microbial properties to help fight odor. A durable rubber outsole provides reliable traction on the trail or on improved surfaces.

With a 25mm heel and a 22mm forefoot the shoe has a minimal 3mm drop. It weighs in at 1 pound 3.8 ounces per pair.

Sold in pairs the Topo Athletic Men's MT-3 trail running shoe is available in men's full and half sizes.

Excellent all around

Likes

Short break in and excellent fit. I have been impressed with the combination of lower drop, without going to zero, and a bit of extra width in the toe box. Outsole has plenty of grip but is not unforgiving on harder surfaces. Great all around.

Dislikes

There was a slight "click" created by flex in the forefoot area when they were brand new but this resolved itself after logging some miles and I attribute it to standard break in.
