True mountain running calls for a pack with specific features and the lightweight Ultimate Direction Mountain Vest 6.0 delivers. It fits close-to-the-body, has accessible pocketing, and keeps two hydration flasks right up front in easy reach.

Description

  • Athletic, bounce-free fit: The pack is purposefully contoured to wrap completely around the body for a secure vest-like fit so that it moves with you instead of against you. A Comfort Cinch feature allows you to adjust the fit with a simple pull tab design.
  • Hydration at-the-ready: Two included HydraPak 500ml bottles ride up front so that you can stay hydrated without ever breaking stride. An interior pocket will accommodate up to a 2.0L reservoir if that's your preference (hydration system not included).

  • Up front pocketing includes a dedicated bottle pocket, a zippered multipurpose pocket capable of fitting a bottle or other gear, two lat pockets, and a zippered water-resistant phone pocket
  • Comes with four hooks and bungee loops to attach trekking poles and can be attached at the front or back of the vest for customizable trekking pole carry options
  • Large rear waterproof main pocket with a zippered clamshell opening
  • Front buckle sternum straps with sliding rail adjustments
  • One waterproof and one water-resistant shoulder stash pocket for small items

How is it sized?
The Mountain Vest 6.0 is available in 4 sizes that are determined by measuring around the bottom of your rib cage. The Small best fits 23"-32" measurements, the Medium best fits 30"-39" measurements, the Large best fits 37"-46" measurements, and the Xlarge best fits to 44"-52".
