Waterproof and robust, the Petzl Aria 2 RGB headlamp offers max lighting of 450 lumens and has the performance you need for exploring after dark. White, red, green and blue night vision-protective settings make this light especially useful for sportsmen.
Description
- Two beam styles for proximity and distance vision: You can set the main white light to either a wide flood-style beam or a mixed beam that includes a focused lens for distance vision. Both beam styles light up your immediate area with up to 450 lumens for comfortable close-up vision and the ability to see the terrain around you. The white beam has three brightness settings to adapt to various light levels.
- Color lighting to help you adapt to different conditions: Different color lighting helps the light perform in various low-light conditions; red preserves night vision and provides stealth, green facilitates map-reading and heightens contrast, and blue helps identify traces of blood and improves visibility in water without frightening fish. The colored light settings can be continuous or set to strobe.
- Easy to use and adjust: A single button controls the brightness and color selection. A battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time it's turned on or off. The housing tilts to adjust the angle of the light and the adjustable elastic headband is detachable and washable.
- Durable weather-proof performance: The headlamp's IP 67 rating means that it's dustproof and waterproof (in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes). A lock function prevents it from turning on when in transit or storage.
- Lightweight and compact for comfortable use: The headlamp weighs in at about 3.74 ounces and adds hardly anything to your pack weight. It also has a lock function to prevent it from accidentally turning on in transit or storage to ensure it's ready for use when you need it.
Power options
The Aria 2 RGB comes with three AAA/LR03 batteries, but it's also compatible with Petzl's rechargeable CORE battery (sold separately). The headlamp automatically detects the type of power source and adjusts the lighting for optimal performance.
