- Lightweight packability that doesn't leave you out in the cold: Weighing in around one pound between the various sizes, Therm-a-Rest has refined the pad's construction to deliver an incredible R-value of 7.3, which is warm enough for most campers even in wintry conditions. Therm-a-Rest achieves this with two layers of triangular baffles arranged to minimize convective heat loss and a featherweight reflective film that redirects radiant heat towards your body rather than allowing it to dissipate.
- Sleeping comfort that adjusts to your preferences: The same baffles that help slow heat loss also create an internal structure that stabilizes the pad no matter how you toss and turn at night. When fully inflated the pad is three inches thick, offering plenty of space between you and the ground. Prefer a cushier sleeping surface? Just use the WingLock valve to release air and make micro-adjustments even when laying on the pad.
- Durability where it counts: The pad employs 70D nylon on the bottom to withstand the wear and tear of extended expedition use. The top layer of 30D ripstop nylon maintains that durability while keeping it light and packable.
Sizing, inflation and storage
The NeoAir XTherm NXT is available in three sizes; Regular (72" x 20"), Regular Wide (72" x 25"), and Large (77" x 25"). A stuff sack is included for easy packing and storage, as well as an inflation sack for moisture-free inflation and a repair kit. Paired with the inflation sack, the WingLock valve delivers fast one-way inflation. A dedicated deflation mode lets you quickly purge air and get back on the trail.
