It draws upon Adidas's athletic heritage to provide breathability and responsiveness while still providing the stability and protection needed for life on the trail.
The boot's stretchy ripstop mesh upper is far more breathable and forgiving than rigid leather construction but welded TPU reinforcements ensure durability, abrasion-resistance, and lateral supportiveness. The mid-cut height further enhances lateral stability. A GORE-TEX waterproof/breathable membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable.
A lightweight EVA midsole provides cushioning without excess weight or bulk and a molded heel cup increases stability and improves overall fit. A durable Traxion rubber outsole with low-profile lugs delivers reliable traction on wet or dry surfaces.
