- The shoe's upper is focused on fit, comfort, and breathability: Recycled abrasion-resistant mesh helps to shed excess heat so you stay cool while still holding up the demands of life on the trail, a gusseted tongue enhances fit while also helping to keep debris from sneaking inside the shoe, and asymmetrical lacing dials in fit and eliminates awkward contact points.
- A run-focused midsole deliver comfort, support, and protection: A rockered EVA foam midsole cushions every step and promotes an efficient "toe off" to keep you moving forward efficiently, a soft Lycra internal gaiter and internal support structure help to comfortably hold your foot in an optimal running position, and an integrated low-profile rock plate is welcome protection when the trail is littered with rocks or roots or both.
