What's not to like about the Adidas Outdoor Women's Terrex Two Ultra Primeblue trail running shoe? You get lightweight, premium performance and maximum cushioning from a shoe that is helping to repurpose materials reclaimed from the world's threatened oceans.
The shoe's stretch knit synthetic upper offers a close, sock-like fit and maximizes breathability. The abrasion-resistant fabric is constructed from upcycled waste that is intercepted before reaching beaches and polluting ocean waters. A stretch-knit cuff provides a close, comfortable under-the-ankle fit.
A plush BOOST foam midsole cushions every foot strike and even provides an energy return that reduces fatigue and keeps legs fresh on long runs and during extended training blocks. Inspired by Continental's performance mountain bike tires and utilizing the same material, the shoe's rubber outsole is highly durable and provides excellent traction on varied surfaces.
With a 22mm heel and a 14mm forefoot, the shoe has a moderate 8mm drop.
