An athletic, insulated hybrid layering piece, the Big Agnes Men's Smokin Axle Jacket uses thermo-regulating synthetic insulation and body-mapped construction to provide low-profile warmth and excellent breathability even when you're working hard in cold conditions.
With a high warmth-to-weight ratio, the Primaloft Gold synthetic insulation on the back and side panels is lightweight and packs down small while still protecting against winter's chill. The insulation effectively manages moisture so that you remain dry even during high-intensity activities. A four-way stretch lining maximizes range of motion. The nylon ripstop shell has a DWR to protect against splashed water or light precipitation.
Other features include drawcord hem adjustability, integrated thumbholes to aid in layering and eliminating cold spots between gloves and sleeves, a zippered chest pocket and a zippered lumbar pocket. The lumbar pocket doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket.
Available in your choice of size and color options, the Big Agnes Men's Smokin Axle Jacket has an athletic fit that is best worn only over baselayers or low-profile midlayers.
