- Hybrid use of insulations to balance weight and maximize performance and fit: The upper torso of the jacket employs Big Agnes's Signature Diamond Quilting and 650-fill DownTek insulation to achieve a high warmth-to-weight ratio in dry or wet conditions. The lower torso has smoother panels and is insulated with FireLine Eco a recycled polyester insulation that mirrors the loftiness and compressibility of down insulation without any performance drop-off in wet or damp climates.
- Confidence-inspiring weather-protective exterior: The jacket's 50D polyester ripstop face fabric shrugs off abrasion and wintery wear-and-tear while pairing with a PFC-free DWR coating to ensure long-term durability and protection against the elements.
- Chocked full of winter-ready features: A fully-adjustable, generously-insulated hood enhances warmth and extends protection. A built-in brim helps to ward off the elements while ensuring a clear line of sight. A no-draft collar at the neckline, no-draft elastic cuff gaskets, and adjustable drawcords in hem team up to trap body heat and keep out the cold. With a chest pocket, oversized internal mesh pockets, and lined front hand pockets, the jacket is loaded with storage options.
