Black Diamond Women's Distance Carbon Z Trekking Poles (Clearance)

Ideal for ounce-counting thru-hikers, adventure racers, ultra-marathoners, or any outdoor enthusiast looking for streamlined performance, the Black Diamond Women's Distance Carbon Z poles are incredibly lightweight and collapsible. Carbon fiber and fixed length construction keeps weight to an absolute minimum.

The Z-Pole Rapid Deployment System consists of a concealed inner cord and a single push-button release. Borrowed from Black Diamond's tested avalanche probes, a center cord provides surprising strength and stability. Like tent poles, the carbon sections snap securely into place, resulting in weight savings and increased collapsibility that enables them to take up far less packed space than traditional poles. The push-button release has an angled design to make it easier to collapse the poles when you're ready to stow them.

NOTE: Though collapsible, Distance Carbon Z poles are only available in fixed lengths (100 cm, 105 cm, 110 cm, 115 cm, or 120 cm lengths) and do not provide an adjustability range.

Non-slip EVA foam grips maintain the minimalist profile while serving as secure hand holds. The lightweight and breathable wrist straps are made from recycled material and have a Strap Tunnel to tuck away any excess after adjusting the straps to your preference.

Two sets of tips are included. Carbide tips deliver solid traction for trails or soft ground. Non-marking rubber tips can be used to prevent trail damage and provide grip and durability. Narrow trekking pole baskets are included, but optional broader-diameter baskets (sold separately) are available to equip the poles for use in winter or alpine conditions.
