Utilizing durable closed-cell foam, the Exped FlexMat is a lightweight sleeping pad that's easy to deploy as a protective insulator beneath inflatable mats or as a minimalist sleeping pad on its own. The dimpled pattern provides low-profile cushioning and has an accordion-fold design for easy transport.
The pad is constructed of molded closed-cell IXPE foam. The egg carton-like form creates a 0.7" thick sleeping base. The pad's 1.5 R-value makes it suitable as a minimal warm weather stand-alone or as a protective barrier in tandem with inflatable or self-inflating pads. This also helps to provide additional insulation in cold weather.
The Exped FlexMat closed cell foam sleeping pad is available in Medium (72" x 20.5" x 0.7") and Long/Wide (77.6" x 25.6" x 0.7") size options.
